I'm thinking of turning the DJ history page upside down, or splitting it in two (one half with current DJs), and possibly making the dates less American and more international (5/6/11 is not the 6th of May everywhere) with a #Day-Month-#year format (5/6/11 becomes 6-May-11).

Would this be something that would be a good / bad idea? Would it be useful? Is there a better way to do it?

Should I just leave it be?

I hear the entire website is getting a facelift. Does this mean a non-wiki format? I don't know.

I think it'd be nice to have one list of ALL DJs in chronological order and another with current DJs. The international dates definitely sounds like a good idea.

As long as you abbreviate the month rather than using the number it matters less which order the elements are in, but that said I am in favor of the more international standard. While we're at it, we should start measuring everything in metric.

The Wiki will stay, as will the forums. The Wiki just won't be the main website as it is now.

Page is done (for now), split into current DJs and former DJs. Happy to accept creative criticism on any suggested changes.

I don't know how to put a bigger gap between the first and second section, because my entire wiki knowelege consists of copying and pasting, so if you know, do tell.

Forgot about this until after I'd done, but it's a really good idea, so I think I'll make a second page for a DJ master list when I have a little spare time.

Edit: Whoops forgot this:

I'll work on this another time as well.

This has now happened.

I created a new 'Current DJs' Page (new link in left sidebar) and moved CK's edits to that page.

History of DJs page has been rolled back to its old format.

Working on dates.

This is now done.

I used dd-mmm-yyyy (22-Apr-2011)

I considered using ISO as suggested by stanley (yyyy-mm-dd -- 2011-04-22) but decided that it wouldn't be as clear for our listenership as dd-mmm-yyyy.

Yeah, my understanding of ISO was off, and what you did is what I meant to suggest, so yay on that.
